Vibration sensor with self-test

Since we have been mainly involved in the development of devices for "Condition Monitoring" in recent years, we wanted to realize our ideas of a versatile, compact and cost-effective vibration sensor, that can be used in many applications. Its self-test input stands out from many sensors in the market.

With the vibration velocity sensor BVS420 we launch our own vibration monitoring unit, which is implemented in current loop technology. When the self-test input is driven, the internal sensor element generates a high level of vibration and therefore the entire sensor and the peripheral monitoring chain can be checked. For this, the current signal goes to > 20 mA as long as the input is activated.

Carried out at regular intervals, this leads to highest security when monitoring high-quality machines and systems.
